Associate Project Manager Position

Reports To: Vice President of Research Engagement Center

Summary:

The Associate Project Manager (APM) is a vital operational role within the Research Engagement Center, responsible for supporting the efficient execution of research studies. APMs sit in a unique position, sometimes working on projects under the direction of Project Managers, and sometimes acting as the lead on phone only research studies. Thus the APM must be able to operate efficiently in a team and as a leader. They contribute directly to service delivery, ensuring quality data is returned to our customers. This role operates in a fast-paced environment and requires adaptability, strong time management, communication, and organizational skills, as well as logical thinking and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will be a proactive learner, team-oriented, and committed to professional conduct.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of research logistics professionals.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Review data to ensure quality standards are met.
    • Monitor and coach live calls, providing constructive feedback.
    • Review call recordings and deliver coaching notes to agents.
  • Study Management:
    • Execute research studies according to the company's proven process.
    • Create and implement Research Logistics Plans.
    • Communicate effectively with customers.
    • Coordinate internal resources to ensure project success.
    • Manage project budgets and timelines.
    • Deliver project outcomes within established parameters.
  • Resource Allocation:
    • Manage agent hours and resource allocation.
    • Forecast project resource needs.
    • Organize and maintain workflow documentation.
  • Operational Efficiency:
    • Contribute to the refinement and implementation of standard operating procedures.
    • Support process improvements to enhance team efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience:
    • High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Experience in a fast paced customer service or project based environment is a plus.
    • Market Research experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time management.
    • Strong working knowledge of Google Docs, Sheets, and Forms.
    • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas.
    • Excellent analytical thinking and attention to detail.
    • Strong desire to succeed, both individually and as part of a team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Required Availability:
    • Full-time (40 hours), flexible hours.
    • Able to work night shifts as late as 10 pm.
    • Full-time remote work – high-speed internet is crucial.

Additional Information:

  • This is a full-time, exempt position.
  • No travel is required.
  • Priority will be given to those that live in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, Ohio, South Carolina, Texas, and Wisconsin, but we please still apply if you live outside of these states
