Associate Project Manager Position

Assistant Project Managers (APMs) are a vital asset to our company.

APMs have a direct impact on service delivery back to our customers. They are part of a fast-paced environment and are expected to adapt easily and prioritize well. Job success is based on having strong time management skills, communication and organizational skills, as well as logical thinking and problem-solving.

You will be expected to learn a lot, in what will seem to be a very short period of time. Getting overwhelmed will be normal at first, it is expected that you will need to ask a lot of questions and take a lot of notes. Communication is very important; if you do not ask questions or talk about your concerns, it will be much harder for you to move along in your training.

The willingness to work with other people as a team is also very critical, understanding that you will be dealing with a lot of different personality types when speaking and supervising the interviewers as well as with your communication with other Assistant Project Managers, Project Managers, and Research Engagement Center (REC) Management is very important. It is also very important to conduct yourself professionally at all times.

The following are items that you will be trained on within the next few weeks. You will be learning these things to help you be successful in your supervisory role.  It is expected that all members not only learn these items, but become proficient in them. In the event it is determined by your direct report that tasks were not performed to standard, the individual is not meeting criteria set forth, or that they are not a good fit for the position overall, Qlarity Access reserves the right to remove the individual from this position and evaluate the best position for them within Qlarity Access.
